Unsafe Havens is Abdul Hekmat’s documentation of his journey to his homeland, Afghanistan after fleeing the country over ten years ago. He travelled back to see what had really changed and found that despite some improvements, the Hazaras still live in fear of persecution from the Taliban and from rival ethnic groups.
